Samuel Clemens famously once said "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." This quote could also be applied to the check - for years we've heard they are dying and, to be sure, the volume is dwindling, but this long-standing payment method still exists. This course examines the current state of checks in the industry, how they have evolved to include images and electronic checks, and looks at fraud schemes and mitigation efforts related to checks.
