This class introduces students to the “alphabet soup” of laws and regulations that govern payments, with an emphasis on enforcement. Students are provided with a basis for more in-depth examinations of Regulation E, UCC 3, 4 and 4A, and the Green Book. This is a prerequisite course for Payment Systems Regulations in Practice where students are able to apply knowledge of pertinent regulations to various scenarios.
