Build, Buy, or Partner? Navigating Fintech Solutions in the Payments Ecosystem

As fintech solutions continue to expand, financial institutions must decide whether to build capabilities in-house, buy a third-party solution, or partner to deliver new payment offerings. Faculty will explore the considerations behind each approach and what they mean for vendor management and oversight. This course will discuss setting clear expectations with fintech partners, regulator expectations for third-party relationships, and key elements of FFIEC guidance, helping students evaluate and manage fintech relationships with confidence.
