In this course, faculty will discuss the impact of Pay-by-Bank on consumers and businesses. Students will learn about the risks involved in using Pay-by-Bank, such as security issues, challenges with disputes, and potential technical problems. The course will also explain how Pay-by-Bank goes beyond just card products, looking at how instant payment systems and ACH play a role in making payments faster and more secure. Faculty will guide students in balancing the benefits of new payment options with the risks that come with them.
